Objective: To explore the clinical diagnostic value of ultrasound on borderline ovarian cystadenoma. Methods: Retrospective analysis was performed on 47 cases of borderline ovarian cystadenoma which were proved by surgery. Focal canceration was found in 7 from 27 cases of borderline serous cystadenoma, and 6 casese of focal canceration in 20 cases of grume borderline cystadenoma, and the ultrasonic features were analyzed and compared between two different types of borderline ovarian cystadenoma. Results: Cystic and solid components were found in borderline serous cystadenoma, and net partition, Pouch nipples and cystic and solid components were shown in grume borderline cystadenoma. Focal canceration was found in the partition of the cystic and solid components, which is associated with the bilateral lesions, the size of the solid part and the age. Conclusions: It is of great clinical value to improve the diagnotic accuracy preoperation and caneration according to the specific ultrasonic features of borderline ovarian cystadenoma.
