Abstract:Objective To explore the value of transvaginal three-dimensional ultrasound (3D-TVS) in diagnosis of mild intrauterine adhesion. Methods A total of 45 patients treated in our hospital from 2015.4 to 2015.12, respectively, they were examined by two- dimensional ultrasound (2D-TVS) and 3D-TVS.Then with hysteroscopy results as the "gold standard" for comparative analysis. All positive patients were diagnosed as mild intrauterine adhesions by hysteroscopy. Results 42 cases of all 45 patients finally were confirmed by hysteroscopy (HS) as mild intrauterine adhesions .The 2D-TVS diagnosis of mild intrauterine adhesions in sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and diagnostic accordance rate was 57.14%, 33.33%, 92.31%, 55.56% respectively; 3D-TVS diagnosis of mild intrauterine adhesions in sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, diagnostic accordance rate was 92.86%, 66.67%, 97.50%, 91.11%. Conclusion 3D-TVS has obvious advantages in the diagnosis of mild intrauterine adhesion than 2D-TVS, which can provide reliable information for clinical treatment of mild intrauterine adhesion.
