Abstract:[Abstract]Objective: To investigate the clinical value of the scanning duration of breast health examination. Methods: Patients scanned by routine breast ultrasound examination are divided into 2 minutes (scan each breast every one minute, including bilateral axillaries), 4 minutes (scan each breast every two minutes, including bilateral axillaries) and 6 minutes group (scan each breast every three minutes, including bilateral axillaries) by different scanning duration. Made a record of ultrasound lesions after scanning. Each group had 300 persons. In total, 900 persons were in this research. The influence of scanning duration on lesions detection was analyzed by Logistic regression analysis. Significance test level was P<0.05. Results: According to Logistic regression analysis, there are significant differences between 2 minutes scanning and 4 minutes scanning or 6 minutes scanning, in which the OR of 4 minutes is 1.65(P=0.003) and the OR of 6 minutes is 2.01(P=0.000). But there are not statistical significance between 4 minutes and 6 minutes in positive rate(P=0.239).Conclusion: scanning duration of breast screening ultrasound examination had influence on the detection rate.
