Abstract Acute kidney injury is acritical disease. As the morbidity increases，the burden on medical services is increasing in China. The prognosis of AKI is poor with high fatality，the early discovery，diagnosis and treatment are important for the prognosis of AKI，but the early diagnosis of this disease is dissatisfied actually. When a definite diagnosis is gotten，the patients are usually at a obstinate stage. Many kinds of new biomarkers and imageological examination are still in research phase at present，This article is to make a review about the advances of the clinical diagnosis of acute kidney injury based on recent studies.
