Abstract:Objective:To assess the value of elastography in differentiation diagnosis of malignant and benign thyroid nodule.Methods:Thrity-one patients with 31 lesions were examined by Ultrasound and elastography.Analyse the detection rate and calculate the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of Ultrasound and elastography.Result:In 31 cases of thyroid nodules,15 were malignant nodules, 16 were benign nodules. The positive rate of the elasticity scores and elasticity strain ratio were significantly higher than that in the Ultrasound. And the predictive value, judging for the sensibility, specificity, masculine and negative of the elasticity scores and elasticity strain ratio were significantly higher than that in the Ultrasound.Conclude:The elastograpy is helpful in differentiating benign and malignant thyroid nodules.
