Abstract:Objective: To observe and analyze the soft fibroma (skin tag) of two-dimensional and color doppler sonographic features. Methods: Two dimensional ultrasound and Color Doppler manifestation of 18 patients with soft fibroma confirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively and related literatures were reviewed. Results: Among 8 patients, the age: (38.3±10.5) year,female 17 cases,male 1 case.Masses located at nipple in 8 patients, at hip in 3 patients, at lower limbs in 2 patients,at perineum in 2 patients,at axilla in 2 patients and at walls of the chest in 1 patient, which is located at the chest wall to multiple, the rest are single. In the 18 cases, The two-dimensional ultrasonic manifestations:In 13 cases the maximal diameter of mass line is less than 10 mm (72.2%), 5 cases of mass >10 mm (27.8%), 16 cases with clear boundary (88.9%), 15 cases with morphological rules(83.3%), of 13 cases with pedicle skin layer(83.3%) and 5 cases of mass is in the skin layer (27.8%); internal echo: weak echo in 16 cases (88.9%), strong echo in 2 cases (11.1%), homogeneous echo in 16 cases (88.9%), uneven internal echo in 2 cases (11.1%), including 1 case of mass with lamellar echoless areas in the mass.Color flow classification: level0-1 in 14 cases (77.8%), level 2 in 3 cases, level 3 in 1 case, of which 2-3 level blood flow classification of patients with infection.Conclusion: Soft fibroma often occurs in women, often located in the skin fold areas, such as the neck, trunk, axillary, breast and genital area, ultrasound imaging features were more clearly boundary and regular shape, and most pedunculated skin layer and a few was in the skin layer, the maximum diameter of line less than 10mm, Sthe inside was more homogeneous weak echo, with no obvious blood flow signal,but abundant blood flow signal with infection.
