Abstract:Abstract Objective To explore the clinica value of the Ultrasonic measurement parameters and classification for the treatment of cornual pregnancy by ultrasound-guided curettage . Methods Fifty nine patients with clinically or pathologically proved cornual pregnancy in First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College were selected in this retrospective study. All patients were treated with ultrasound-guided curettage at first ,while patients with ineffective treatment were treated surgically. Two groups were classified on the basis of different treatment effect: effective group A, ineffective group B . To analyze the differences of ultrasonographic manifestations between the two groups, including the classification, the maximal diameter of lesions and the thickness of peripheral muscle. P<0.05 were statistically significant. Results The differences of classification, the maximal diameter of the lesions and the thickness of the muscular layer between the effective group A (forty-four patients) and the ineffective group B group (fifteen patients) were statistically significant. Conclusion The cornual pregnancy lesions were surrounded by endometrium or belong to the pregnancy-type ,which had a better therapeutic effect and lower residue under the ultrasound-guided curettage. The treatment with smaller lesions or lesions around the thick muscle would be safer by the ultrasound-guided curettage.
