Objective To explore the difference of biceps, deltoid and latissimus dorsi Young’s modulus in ultrasound doctors right and left side muscle elasticity and whether or not related to the working years. Methods 37 ultrasound doctors aged 27 to 52 years old. A shear-wave elasto-sonography (AixPlorer model, Supersonic Imagine, Aix en Provence, France) coupled with a linear array transducer array (4–15 MHz) was employed. The longitudinal muscle elastic modulus of biceps brachii , deltoid and latissimus dorsi measured in relax and compared. Results Over 10 years and 0 to 5 years comparison and analysis, the difference is statistically significant. Over 10 years and 5 to 10 the difference is statistically significant. 0 to 5 years and 5 to 10 years groups comparison and analysis, the difference is not statistically significant. The elastic modulus of the biceps in left and right comparison and analysis, the difference is statistically significant. The elastic modulus of the deltoid and latissimus dorsi is not statistically significant. Conclusion The biceps elasticity increase with working time in ultrasonic doctors.The left and right side biceps elasticity were differences .The elasticity modulus of deltoid and latissimus dorsi have no relationship with work time.
