At present, salivary gland isotope examination, lip gland biopsy and X-ray parotid gland sialography are widely used in clinical practice, but these are all invasive. Ultrasound, as an important noninvasive imaging tool, plays an increasingly important role in the diagnosis and evaluation of Sj?gren’s syndrome. This article reviews the application of ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of Sjogren"s syndrome.
