ABSTRACT The standardized training of residents is an important part of post-graduate medical education. As the ultrasound residency training base, my department started to culture residents independently since 2014. To effectively improve the ultrasound diagnosis level of residents, we first tried to apply PBL teaching method in cardiac ultrasonography teaching, which fully mobilized the initiative and enthusiasm of residents, and effectively improved the teaching effect.
