Abstract:Abstract: Molar pregnancy is a benign spectrum of disease arising from abnormal proliferation of trophoblastic tissue. Early diagnosis and treatment can effectively reduce the incidence of complication. Diagnosis is supported by clinical features, serum human chorionic gonadotropin concentration and imaging. It is universally acknowledged that ultrasound is the first-line imaging technique for molar pregnancy. Recently, with the wide application of ultrasound technique, ultrasound is not only used in the field of diagnosis, but also in follow-up management, and predicting post gestational trophoblastic neoplasia after evaluation.
