Neonatal pneumonia is a common disease in newborns,which seriously endangers the health of newborns, and is the important cause of neonatal death. X-ray photography is the main method in diagnosing neonatal pneumonia, along with the application of ultrasonic diagnosis in pulmonary diseases, ultrasound has been used in diagnosis and follow-up in neonatal pneumonia. The progress of the application was reviewed in this paper.
