Abstract:Volume overload is emerging as a universal puzzler in end-stage renal disease patients on hemodialysis, which will frequently lead to cardiovascular complications and thus affect the patients life quality and survival time, therefore how to optimize volume control in patients on hemodialysis is becoming a urgent study focus. Lung ultrasound plays an important role in monitoring volume load and evaluating prognosis. This article reviewed the application and progress of lung ultrasound in evaluation of volume overload in hemodialysis patients.
