Abstract:Objective To investigate the Doppler parameter of fetal ductus venosus (DV) in predicting pregnancy outcomes during later gestation of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Methods About 249 cases GDM women were in research group during later gestation. And the ventricular systole (S), ventricular diastole (D),ventricular end-systole (v),atrium systole (a), time maximum velocity (TAmax) , S/a ratio, pulsatility index(PI), preload index (PLI) and peak velocity index vein(PVIV) of DV Doppler parameters were detected by ultrasound. Those fetus were followed up to the end of the outcomes. Different pregnancy outcomes of parameters were compared, correlation of parameters and pregnancy outcomes were analyzed. Results In group of adverse pregnancy outcomes ,the the S, v, D, a, Tmax parameters of ductus venosus were less than normal pregnant women, but the S/a, PI, PLI and PVIV were more than common pregnancy outcomes group. But only S/a and PLI were with statistical significance in two groups(P<0.05). If the predicted value of S/a is 1.84, the sensitivity and specificity values 54.05% and 71.70%. And the area under ROC curve: 0.614; And if we set the predicted value of PLI is 0.45, the sensitivity and specificity values 54.05% and 70.75%. Area under the ROC curve: 0.616. Conclusions Monitoring the fetal ductus venosus blood flow spectrum of GDM in later pregnancy by applying ultrasonic, which could provide the basis for predicting the pregnancy outcomes ; The parameters of S/a and PLI all could predict pregnancy outcomes, and PVIV had a higher predicted value.
