Abstract:ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate left ventricular systolic function and systolic synchrony in children with LVNC by RT-3DE.Materials and Methods 34 children with LVNC were enrolled .They were divided into EF normal group(EF≥55%,25 cases)and EF reduction group(EF<55%,9 cases).At the same time,20 healthy children who were consistent with the age,height and weight of the experimental group were selected as the normal control group. The RT-3DE automatically outputs the time - volume curve to obtain the systolic synchrony parameters 16 segments,12 segments and 6 segments(Tmsv -SD,Tmsv-Dif,Tmsv -SD%,Tmsv-Dif%).Results Compared with the normal control group, the EF normal group had Tmsv-SD、Tmsv-Dif and Tmsv-SD%、Tmsv-Dif% in 16 and 12 segments, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),while 6 segments were no significant difference(P>0.05). The EF reduction group compared with the normal control group, Tmsv-SD、Tmsv-Dif and Tmsv-SD%、Tmsv-Dif% in 16 segments, 12 segments and 6 segments; the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); The EF normal group compared with the EF reduction group,Tmsv-SD、Tmsv-Dif and Tmsv-SD%、Tmsv-Dif% in 16 segments were significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion RT-3DE technique is used to evaluate the systolic function and systolic synchrony of LVNC in early stage,and assist pediatrician in selecting the appropriate treatment scheme to manage LVNC children.
