Objective To evaluate the clinical value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the evaluation of iliofemoral vein thrombosis. Methods Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography was used to evaluate 43 patients diagnosed or suspected of iliofemoral vein thrombosis by two-dimensional and color doppler ultrasonography,to observe the position and shape of thrombus head and whether there is collateral vessel formation. Results Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography can clearly display the two-dimensional and color doppler ultrasound has been diagnosed or suspected cases of iliofemoral vein thrombosis in 43 cases. Meanwhile, the thrombus head shape is not suitable, the contour and position are clearer than two-dimensional and color doppler display. Some patients have collateral vessels. Conclusions CEUS can clearly show the position and shape of thrombus head ,and show the open collateral vessels, it is helpful to understand the cause and hemodynamics of iliac vein thrombosis and provide more information for clinic.
