Evaluation of left ventricular global systolic function in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia by three- dimensional speckle tracking imaging
ABSTRACT objective To analyze the left ventricular global systolic function with 3D speckle tracking imaging (3D-STI) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia, analyze the influencing factors of left ventricular strain in all directions in T2DM patients.MethodsSixty-two patients with T2DM(case group) were collected and divided into T2DM group(33 cases) and T2DM+HU group(29 cases),and healthy control group(40 cases). All subjects were tested by conventional and three-dimensional echocardiography, stored images and analyzed online with 3D-STI analysis software, single factor analysis of variance was used to compare the differences of parameters, analysis of possible influencing factors with generalized linear model. Results compared with control group,GLS in T2DM group was lower(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in GAS,GCS and GRS between the two groupscompared with control group,GLS,GAS,GCS and GRS in T2DM+HU group were lower(P<0.05).compared with T2DM group,GLS,GAS,GCS and GRS in T2DM+HUgroup were lower(P<0.05).FPG and uric acid are independent influencing factors of left ventricular strain in all directions.ConclusionUnder the condition of normal ejection fraction, the overall systolic function of the left ventricle in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus has been damaged, which is further aggravated by hyperuricemia.3D-STI can sensitively detect the changes of the systolic function of the left ventricle at an early stage, provide basis for clinic.
