Abstract:Non-invasive left ventricular pressure-strain loop provides a novel method for the quantitative assessment of myocardial work by measuring myocardial strain and left ventricular pressure.Studies have shown that myocardial work has high sensitivity for the diagnosis of early myocardial dysfunction, and is superior to left ventricular ejection fraction and global longitudinal strain in the recognition of left ventricular myocardial subclinical dysfunction, which is of great value in the diagnosis and prognosis of cardiovascular diseases. This paper reviews the application progress of non-invasive left ventricular pressure-strain loop technology in cardiovascular diseases.
