Abstract:Objective To analyze the application value of lung ultrasound(LUS) in premature infant with lung disease at early stage after born. Methods Totally 59 premature infants according to the inclusion criteria were performed LUS. According to the guideline, we divide the lung field into 12 subregions. The all subregions of premature infants were performed by LUS one by one within 72 hours after been born, and scored each lung subregion, detect the pulmonary disease characteristic and status, estimate the relation between abnormal LUS and gestational age, birth weight. Results 1.Compared the lung ultrasound scores of different subregion: there were no significant statistical difference of lung ultrasound scores between left lung and right, upper lung and lower lung(p>0.05).The significant statistical difference of lung ultrasound scores were existed in anterior lung and posterior lung(p<0.05). 2. Relation between lung ultrasound scores and gestational age, birth weight: there were negative correlation between the total lung ultrasound scores and gestational age(r=-0.62,p<0.01), birth weight(r=-0.33,p=0.011). Conclusion The LUS could be used to early, rapidly and accurately estimate the lung disease status of low weight premature infant, further direct the clinical treatment timely. The gestational age and birth weight were the important predictors for the severity of lung disease of premature infants.
