Abstract:Objective:To explore the application value of shear wave ultrasonic elastography (SWE) and surface electromyography (sEMG) in the evaluation of the therapeutic effect of neck shoulder myofascial pain syndrome (MPS).Methods:The clinical data of 90 patients with neck and shoulder (MPS) admitted to the hospital from October 2017 to October 2019 were analyzed retrospectively. All patients were treated with acupuncture and massage for 4 courses (7 days as a course). According to the effect of 1 month after treatment, they were divided into group A (54 cases) and group B (36 cases). Before and after treatment, the young"s modulus, trigger point thickness and tissue elasticity score of the two groups were measured by swe, and the mean amplitude value and the mean frequency slope value were measured by sEMG, and the evaluation value of the above indexes on the therapeutic effect of MPS patients with neck and shoulder was analyzed by ROC.Results:Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the scores of tissue elasticity, Young"s modulus and fascia thickness of the two groups were lower than those before treatment (group agroup B), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). ROC curve showed that AUC of tissue elasticity score, Young"s modulus value, fascia thickness, average amplitude value and average frequency slope were 0.750, 0.744, 0.836, 0.812 and 0.752 respectively, which had a certain value, and the value of combined examination was higher (AUC=0.957,P<0.01).Conclusion:Shear wave ultrasonic elastography combined with surface electromyography can be used to evaluate the efficacy of neck shoulder myofascial pain syndrome.
