Objective to explore the diagnostic value of high frequency ultrasound in fibrolipomatous hamartoma. Methods eight cases of fibrolipomatous hamartoma diagnosed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively. Results the fibrolipomatous hamartoma was characterized by obvious thickening of the affected nerve region and expansive growth. In 6 cases, the hypoechoic nerve bundles with unequal thickness were surrounded by high echoic fat without capsule, The transverse section is “Lotus root slices”shaped, and the longitudinal section is“serpentine”shaped. Two patients had hyperechoic nodular lesions without obvious sonogram features. CDFI is the blood flow signal of level 0-2. Conclusion the sonogram of neurofatty fibroma is highly characteristic, and ultrasound can be used as the first diagnostic technique.
