Abstract:ABSTRACT Objective To explore the clinical application value of Point Shear Wave Elastography (PSWE) in quantitatively evaluate the liver injury in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF). Methods According to Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and teatment of Heart Failure 2018, 74 patients with chronic heart failure(CHF) were divided into mild heart failure group(MHF) (40 cases), moderate to severe heart failure group(MSHF) (34 cases), and 30 healthy volunteers were selected as the control group (all had no previous history of liver injury). All subjects were tested by PSWE、Routine echocardiography . The values of liver Young’s modulus and other relevant parameters were statistically analyzed. Results 1. The young's modulus values of the liver in patients with CHF was higher than normal (P < 0.05), but the increase was more significant in the MSHF group. (P < 0.05). 2. Young's modulus of liver in patients with CHF was positively correlated with brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), total bilirubin,(T-Bil) , alkaline phosphatase (ALP)and gamma glutamyl transferase (γ-GGT)(r=0.679, 0.769, 0.623, 0.609, all P < 0.05), and negatively correlated with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) (r= -0. 733, P < 0.05). Conclusion PSWE can quantitatively evaluate the liver injury in patients with CHF and is of great clinical value.
