Abstract:Objectives The study is to investigate the cavitation regulation of VINNO 70 integrated ultrasound theranostic system, including the measurements of frequency (f), pulse length (PL), pulse repetition frequency (PRF) and mechanic index (MI), as well as the adapted weakly focusing in therapeutic VFlash mode. Methods Membrane hydrophone and oscilloscope were used to measure the above parameters and MI distribution. The relationship of the setting MI and actual value was detected. Furthermore, the influence of f and distance to transducer on MI was also explored. Results It showed that the actual value of f, PL and PRF for the linear array probe X4-12L and convex array probe S1-8C were consistent with setting value. The acoustic distribution and microbubble destruction demonstrated that the VFlash mode could weakly focus on the ROI. However, there was some difference between the setting and actual value of MI. And MI was affected by the f and distance to the transducer. Conclusion VINNO 70 integrated ultrasound theranostic system can regulate cavitaion by f, PL, PRF and so on. And VFlash mode can weakly focused on the ROI resulting in regional targeting microbubble destruction.
