Abstract:Pudendal neuralgia (PN) is a refractory neuropathic pain disease, which traditional methods are poor efficacy, such as blind nerve block. Therefore, the visualization of accurate operation is crucial. In recent years, ultrasound has been successfully applied in the auxiliary treatment of patients with pudendal neuralgia due to precise positioning and radiation-free etc., which can not only provide more accurate diagnosis, but also improve the efficacy in medium- and long-term. In this manuscript, we review the progress of ultrasound-guided in treatment of pudendal neuralgia.
