Abstract:In children, Non-invasive quantitative assessment of myocardial function is very important for clinical interventions. This article reviews the current status of echocardiography in atrioventricular function in children with different heart diseases, such as doppler tissue imaging, real-time three dimensional echocardiography, speckle tracking echocardiography, vector flow mapping, ultrasonic enhancing agents and so on, in order to understanding the values of ultrasound echocardiography objectively.
