| diabetic cardiomyopathy (DC) is an important cause of heart failure and increased mortality in diabetes mellitus (DM) patients. Abnormal right ventricular function is a predictor of mortality in various types of heart failure. Accurate assessment of right ventricular function is of great value for the treatment and prognosis of DC patients.
