Abstract:ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the left ventricular movement change in primary sj?gren's syndrome(pSS) patients with moderate pulmonary arterial hypertention(PAH) by three-dimensional speckle tracking imaging(3D-STI) technique. Methods 60 patients with pSS were divided into two groups according to pulmonary arterial hypertension:pSS-NPAH group (without PAH,30 cases) and pSS-PAH group(with moderate PAH,30 cases),other 20 healthy adults were included into control group.Compare their two-dimensional ultrasonic parameters and 3D-STI parameters:global longitudinal strain(GLS),global circumferential strain (GCS),global radial strain (GRS),left ventricular peak twist (LVPtw),time at left ventricular peak twist (LVPtwT).ROC curve was used to analyze the sensitivity and specificity of three-dimensional parameters in the diagnosis of left ventricular movement change of pSS patients with moderate PAH.Results Compared with control group,GLS、GCS、GRS were significantly decreased in pSS-NPAH group(all P <0.05),compared with control group and pSS-NPAH group,GLS、GCS、GRS、LVPtw were significantly decreased and LVPtwT were significantly increased in pSS-PAH group(all P <0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve of three-dimensional parameters were 0.833-0.935, the accuracy was good. Conclusion PSS can impaire ventricular function,3D-STI can be used to evaluate left ventricular systolic function in pSS patients with moderate PAH.
