The incidence of breast tumor is increasing in women all over the world, so early diagnosis and treatment are very important. Ultrasound texture analysis is a technique method of utilizing the high-throughput extraction of features from medical images to reflect the heterogeneity of diseases,through the appropriate texture features. Ultrasound texture analysis has been applied to the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of breast tumor. This article reviews the application of ultrasound texture analysis in the diagnosis and treatment of breast tumor.
