As the study progresses, we have found that enthesitis is more common in people with rheumatic immune diseases and is associated with disease activity and quality of life with them.At present, there is a lot of consensus suggesting that clinical workers should pay attention to enthesitis in patients with rheumatic immune diseases, which further emphasizes the clinical significance of enthesitis. As a preferred method to evaluate entheses,ultrasound has been paid attention by more and more researchers.More and more musculoskeletal ultrasound scoring systems have been developed for the study of enthesitis, but these scoring systems have some drawbacks. This review summarizes the evaluation methods of enthesitis and the application progress of musculoskeletal ultrasound in enthesitis,explains the concept of enthesitis, and makes a reasonable prospect for the future study of ultrasound evaluation.
