Abstract:Objective? Study the evaluation value of high-frequency ultrasound (HFUS) and shear wave elastography (SWE)? in assessing thickness, blood flow, and elastic changes at different stages after complete repair of unilateral extensor tendon rupture. Methods Prospective collection of 41 extensor tendons from 33 patients with unilateral extensor tendon rupture who visited the Trauma Center of Zigong Fourth People"s Hospital from January 2022 to February 2023.All of these cases have undergone surgical repair.Measure the thickness, blood flow, and shear wave elasticity of the repaired extensor tendon and the same part of the healthy side tendon at 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months after the repair surgery. Results Refers to the extensor tendon rupture repair 1 month, 3 months, 6 months postoperatively, thickness gradually decreased, comparison between two difference is statistically significant(P<0.05). Refers to the extensor tendon rupture repair postoperative 1 month, 3 months, 6 months gradually reduced blood flow classification, comparison between two difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Refers to the extensor tendon rupture repair postoperative 1 month, 3 months, 6 months increased speed values, between the two comparison difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion HFUS combined with SWE can dynamically monitor the acoustic image and elastic changes at different times after repair of extensor digitulosus tendon rupture, evaluate the repair effect of its structure, function and hardness, and provide a theoretical basis for prognosis.
