Abstract:Objective To investigate the brain development of PE fetus with FGR and PE fetus without FGR.Methods 72 pregnant women with PE combined with FGR were selected as PE-FGR group and 72 pregnant women with PE without FGR were selected as PE-non-FGR group. In addition, 72 normal pregnant women were selected as the control group to evaluate the differences in craniocerebral parameters among all groups.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to screen the craniocerebral parameters independently related to fetal brain development. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of brain parameters in predicting PE and PE combined with FGR.Results There were statistically significant differences in MADCC, MDCC/CI, CI, BPD, HC and OFD among all groups (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in TCD among all groups (P>0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that MADCC and MADCC/CI were independent correlation factors for PE (OR=0.983, 2.127, both P < 0.05).The area under the curve (AUC) predicted by MADCC for PE and PE combined FGR were 0.800 and 0.840, respectively. MADCC/CI predicted that the AUC of PE and PE combined with FGR were 0.784 and 0.796, respectively. The AUC of PE and PE combined FGR was 0.867 and 0.859, respectively. Conclusion The corpus callosum development was restricted in PE fetuses with or without FGR. MADCC and MADCC/CI have important diagnostic value for early identification of fetal abnormalities of corpus callosum development in PE.
