Abstract:Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is an important phenotype in heart failure (HF), which has considerable morbidity and mortality. Researches on HFpEF have mainly focused on the left side currently, but abnormalities of structures and dysfunction of the right heart are common in HFpEF. As an important diagnostic tool, echocardiography has unique advantages in the evaluation of right heart structure and function, and important prognostic value. This article reviews the current application and the prognostic value of the structure and function of right heart in HFpEF?evaluated by?echocardiography.
